ABOUT THE SURVEY:

The survey is a part of a doctoral research on Open Source Content Management Systems, more specifically the entrepreneurship opportunities created by established Open Source software like Joomla!. The research is conducted jointly  by Imperial College, London (U.K.) and Ghent University in Belgium.

This survey collects information on the business models of the companies that develop products (extensions, templates, etc.) for Joomla! content management system (CMS). The initial part of the survey questionnaire gathers information of the company with respect to the value offering and customer relationships throughout the value chain activities. The founding team structure and the revenue generation and pricing facets of the business model are covered in the later part of the questionnaire.

The results of the research will be strictly used for academic purposes to study the employment and business opportunities generated by Joomla!.

In order to be able to compare the enterprises across various aspects, we request the respondents to answer *ALL* questions.
